Our house is located in the same structure, therefore we are at your disposal for any need or information: Francesca, owner of the property, is ready to advise you, help you and make you feel at home.
Grazie is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, located within the Parco del Mincio Nature Reserve, where 300 species of birds live and the wooded and aquatic vegetation (such as the famous “Lotus Flowers”) represent its extraordinary heritage.
It is possible to explore the reserve with relaxing walks in the forest parks, making exciting river excursions or cycling along the bike path that from the village reaches Lake Garda, following the river.
In the square you can find the Sanctuary of Santa Maria Assunta, erected by Francesco Gonzaga at the end of the fourteenth century for the cessation of the plague. With its unique and extraordinary charm, it is a place of silence, prayers and pilgrimages. It is located on a slight hill, overlooking the waters of Lake Superior Mantua.
On August 15 every year, Madonnari from all over the world paint the churchyard of the sanctuary with sacred images in a chalk competition, creating a very folkloric fair.
